About Items Configuration

Active Tray allows you to add different items (programs, documents, folders, internet links, cascading menus, etc) to the system tray. The structure of your Active Tray items is stored in the Items Configuration section of the Active Tray window. Call this window by right-clicking any of the program's tray icons and choosing Show Main Window from the menu that appears.

The Items Configuration list has a tree-type structure since items of the Menu of Group type can include other items. These items may also include other menus and launch groups. If you are using the Single Icon mode, Active Tray will create only one icon in the system tray. Clicking this icon will display a menu containing all the root-level items from your configuration. If you are using the Multi Icon mode, each root-level item will have a separate icon in the system tray.
